MUSICIAN GLASS COLLECTION
The expert workmanship of, mouth blown and hand finished original art glass has its origins in the glassmakers of the 13th century Florence, Venice and later the island of, Murano.
Venetian glass is the term used to describe the glass collections of a time-honoured tradition. Some works are named after the artist who created the masterpieces, such as Nieri, Rossi, Bellisio, others are designated by the region of locale of the factory where the glassworks are created. These included the Vilca Italy collection, Medici collection, Puntearte collection, Corba collection and Desna collection. Each glasswork represents an important heritage and commemorates a cultural era. The style of the works can reflect traditional, art nouveau or modern shapes and colour. Tiny bubbles in the glass are not imperfections but the very breath of the artisan.
