Koji is a graduate of Kobe Design University, Japan (1995), and he studied at the National Academy School of Fine Arts, New York. His Modern Abstract Expressionism evokes a haunting jewel colour spectrum reminiscent of prehistoric cave frescos. Each painting tells a story on its own. All the seasons are depicted in an abstract circle series formed within the parameters of the canvas. The more the viewer looks at the paintings, the more he sees. The simplicity of the artworks is deceptive. Upon serious reflection, one envisions countless layers upon layers and within each painting; the natural order of the Universe unfolds. Many of his works are in private collections in Japan.
